Fill up the top cup with hot water to allow you to soak your shaving brush without water getting to the handle of your brush, once your brush has soaked and heat has got into the brush bristles simply discard the water from the top cup then fill the shaving brush scuttle (bottom part) with hot water and replace the top cup, you can now rest your loaded brush into the brush scuttle between passes ensuring a warm lather every time you lather your face. Toasted stoneware clay with charcoal matt and blue rutile glaze. (Dishwasher and microwave safe glaze). Being a handmade product no two scuttles will be identical.
