First launched in 2017 to coincide with the 3rd annual Scottish Wet Shave Meet-Up as a bespoke scent in Wickham's 1912 formula and made as an exclusive for The Gentleman's Groom Room with oils chosen by the Dundee store. In 2020 Buddha Wood shaving soap moved to an own brand product with a fantastic updated soap formula and a great new look label. Same fantastic scent as before and still manufactured especially for The Gentleman's Groom Room by Wickham's. A top note of Rose Otto a Heart of Sandalwood, Amber and Ginger on a Base of Buddha Wood and Oud. Below is an independent fragrance profiler's take on the scent from 2017. The well-balanced scent is slightly sweet from the blended Rose Otto and Amber, and ever so slightly spicy, from the combination of Sandalwood, Ginger and Buddha Wood.
